| Proper R&B and then some What an excellent album. I bought this on the strength of having heard "Tax Man" on the radio, which is the best version I have ever heard. This album can truely be described as R&B unlike what is generally considered as R&B in modern music, but it touches on swing and soul also. I had expected the album to be more blues based R&B given the origins of the Rolling Stones, but this is a CD recorded by someone who is obviously enjoying his music and has produced a truely great recording. This is the first CD I have bought for a long time that I loved every track. |
